The Plant has manufactured and shipped all six sectors of the stator frame of the hydro generator for the hydroelectric generating set of Power Unit No. 4 of Kremenchuk HPS. Each of them weighs over 10 t. The unit will be assembled into a ring inside the shaft on the foundation of the hydroelectric generating set. The machine is undergoing reconstruction, in which the State Enterprise "Plant "Electrotyazhmash" and JSC "Turboatom" are jointly involved.

As a result of the retrofitting, the capacity of the hydroelectric generating set will increase from 57 to 60 MW.

At the Kremenchuk HPS, the hydroelectric generating sets of Power Units No. 4 and No. 5 are subject to reconstruction. The Project is financed by the European Investment Bank and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.

Kremenchug HPS of PrJSC "Ukrhydroenergo" is the third stage of the Dnieper cascade. The Station has 12 vertical hydroelectric generating sets, for which “Electrotyazhmash” supplied hydro generators in 1959-1974. The installed total capacity of all machines is 700.4 MW.
